Topic 1: DevOps Culture by Leap Sok (9:00 AM – 9:30 AM)
DevOps is commonly recognised to be primarily about creating a culture of effective and seamless collaboration but this is often the hardest piece to enact when it involves changing an existing culture. So how can you adopt DevOps culture?
Topic 2: Continuous Integration and Deployment by Visay Keo (9:45 AM – 10:45 AM)
Have you ever worked on a project with 10 developers and each of them makes changes to the code 10 times per day? How do you know if every update is ready to release to production? Then continuous integration will answer that instantly for you! Continuous Integration (CI) is a development practice that requires developers to integrate code into a shared repository every time there is a change. Each update is then verified by an automated build, allowing teams to find bugs early and solve problems quickly. It is more than a process because it also involves real practices with a clear how-to, promotes team responsibilities and supports continuous deployment which refers to the release of product that passes the automated tests into production environment.
Dates: Saturday, December 24th from 8:30AM-11:00AM.
